Transylvania Tennis Complex

Located in the heart of Transylvania’s downtown campus, the Transylvania Tennis Complex is the home to both the men’s and women’s tennis programs.

As one of the longstanding athletic facilities on Transylvania’s campus, the Tennis Complex has bore witness to a long tradition of tennis excellence on campus. While playing at this facility, the Transylvania men’s tennis team has manufactured eight conference championships to go along with four NCAA Tournament berths, and the women’s tennis team has captured two conference championships and two NCAA Tournament appearances in the last 11 years.

Transylvania head coach Kevin Calhoun knows the importance of the tennis program’s home court and how it has served as a cornerstone of the program’s success. “They’re our courts and we’re proud of them,” said Calhoun. “We work hard on them, we compete hard on them, we form relationships on them, and we create memories on them.”

In addition to the Transylvania Tennis Complex, the Pioneers also compete at Spindletop Hall in nearby Georgetown. Located at 3414 Iron Works Pike, the Spindletop Hall tennis courts are part of The Club at UK's Spindletop Hall.
