Three Day Farm is located in Lexington, Kentucky and serves as the home of the Transylvania University equestrian team. Three Day Farm is a boarding, training and active Eventing show barn established on a 45 acre facility with additional access to several hundred acres for hacking out and conditioning. The facility has ample turn-outs with shelters and automatic waterers. Our large indoor arena with lights and dust-free footing provides us ability to ride and train during inclement weather. The outdoor jump arena and cross-country field have a variety of fences that give us areas for lessons and schooling and are available for your training purposes.
Transylvania equestrian head coach, Tanya Davis owns the facility. Davis is a certified British Horse Society Instructor. She embarked on her career with horses at a young age and has been teaching horse and rider for over twenty-five years. With a United States Pony Club background, she decided to head to England in the early 1990's to complete her British Horse Society Exams and had the opportunity to train with Christopher & Jane Bartle at The Yorkshire Riding Centre. Her competition experience in Eventing started at twelve years of age. She has competed multiple horses through the years, with experience working with different types of horses. In the late 1990's, she decided to return to Christopher & Jane Bartle's Yorkshire Riding Centre with her Irish Thoroughbred, Brindalus, to continue her training and education.
