Press Box Credentials
Credentials are issued to members of the working press on assignment. Space is limited in the press boxes at the Transylvania Athletic Complex and Clive M. Beck Center, and is prioritized for sports information/athletics communications and team film staff, live audio and video broadcast personnel, and print writers and photographers.
Photographers wishing to take pictures at any Transylvania University Athletics sporting event should download, complete and return the Athletics Photo Credential and proof of insurance to Sports Information Director Justin Sweeney or Assistant Sports Information Director Neal Settle prior to the day of competition.
Upon receipt of this document, Mr. Sweeney or Mr. Settle will respond with a confirmation of your credential for the specified date. On the date of competition, please locate Mr. Sweeney or Mr. Settle, as they will provide you with a press pass. All press passes are to be returned at the end of competition.
If you have any questions or comments, please call Mr. Sweeney at 859-233-8284
All interviews with Transylvania coaches, student-athletes or staff must be coordinated through Sports Information. To request an interview, contact Justin Sweeney or Neal Settle. Interviews may be conducted over the phone or in person. Following games, there is a mandatory 10-minute 'cooling off' period, during which no coach or student-athlete may be interviewed. After the cooling off period, student-athletes and coaches will be made available upon request.
Press Box Internet Access
Hardwire internet access is limited in the press boxes/tables at Transylvania Athletic Complex and the Clive M. Beck Center, and is prioritized for sports information operations and live video broadcasts. Additional hardwire connections are assigned at the discretion of the sports information staff. Those in need should request hardwire internet access when requesting credentials. Wireless internet is available throughout campus with a password by connecting to the 'TU Guest' network.
