Anderson, Ind. – Ten different Pioneers scored as the Transylvania women's lacrosse team opened Heartland Collegiate Lacrosse Conference play with a commanding 21-1 victory over the Anderson University Ravens at Macholtz Stadium on Tuesday night.

Courtney Pontious led the Pioneers with five goals and two assists while Hannah Fouts scored a career-high four goals and added an assist in the victory. Also turning in a career-best was Salem Carlow, who delivered a seven-point night consisting of five assists to go along with a pair of goals.

Transylvania took control of the game from Anderson right from the start as the Pioneers jumped out to a 9-0 lead while preventing the Ravens from developing any opportunities on offense.
