The Pioneers fall to 8-7 on the year while Centre evens its record at 10-10.
Transy led through most of the afternoon, taking a 2-0 lead in the second on an RBI hit by Sam Liggett, scoring Zach Riney, who reached on a single. Liggett would eventually score on a wild pitch.

Liggett opened the fifth with a double and took third on a passed ball before coming home on Kameron Mason's sacrifice fly. Pete Travisano added a run-scoring double later in the frame.
Mason's RBI ground-out, scoring Riney, would complete Transy's scoring. The Pioneers had 12 hits to 14 for the Colonels.
Travisano had three hits for Transy and Liggett, Nick Edwards, and Hunter Voshell each added two.
Edwards, Transy's seventh pitch of the day, took the loss. He went two innings and allowed one hit and one run with one strikeout. Ryan James started the contest and went three innings without giving up a run. He allowed two hits with a strikeout.
