Lexington, Ky. – The Transylvania volleyball team will feature a roster boasting quality and quantity for the 2019 season as head coach Amy Barmore announced the list of incoming student-athletes for the class of 2023.

Transylvania volleyball's recruiting class features nine incoming student-athletes for the 2019 season as the Pioneers begin defense of their 2019 Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference regular-season title.

In her second year as the Transylvania volleyball head coach, Barmore welcomes a plentiful group of players to Lexington as her first full recruiting class.

"We are thrilled to get the 2019 season started with the addition of these student-athletes," says Barmore. "Not only have we added nine new kids to the roster but we have also added healthy competition and energy. Our practices are going to be better than ever and everyone is going to have to work hard every day."

The nine newcomers will join a Transylvania volleyball team coming off its best season in program history during which the Pioneers clinched their first outright HCAC regular-season championship and appeared in the HCAC championship match.
