Freshman Huck Campbell Named Offensive Athlete of the Week

CARMEL, Ind. – The Heartland Collegiate Lacrosse Conference (HCLC) Men's Lacrosse teams competed in week eight of the 2025 season. Freshman, Huck Campbell, has been named Offensive Athlete of the Week. In a conference win against Hanover, Huck Campbell found the back of the net three times and added four assists. In the weekend matchup against Colorado College, Campbell had another three goals and three assists. 
 
Athlete of the Week:
Offensive:
Huck Campbell (Louisville, Ky.) Transylvania University | Attack | First Year - In a 22-7 HCLC victory over Hanover, Campbell had three goals and four assists for seven points. In a 15-12 loss to Colorado College, Campbell had three goals and three assists for a total of six points.

Defensive:
Ryan Dolafi (Ashburn, Va.) Earlham College | Goalie | First Year - Ryan Dolafi was excellent in goal in a 12-3 win over Spalding on Saturday. The freshman goalie tallied 11 saves with only three goals allowed in the win. Dolafi also picked up two ground balls.

Offensive:
  • Robert Gift (Georgetown, Ky.) Earlham College | Attack | Junior - Robbie Gift led a high-powered offense on Saturday with three goals and three assists in a 12-3 win over Spalding. The junior led the Quakers with 12 shots and six points.
  • Collin O'Brien (Somers, Conn.) Hanover College | Attack | Junior - O'Brien led the Panthers as they took on the Pioneers of Transylvania. The junior tied a game-high four goals with an assist for five combined points. He added seven shots, six of which landed on frame.
Defensive: 
  • Lance Guttormson (West Bend, Wis.) Hanover College | Goalie | Senior - Lance Guttormson was stellar in frame as the Panthers took on the Pioneers of Transylvania. The senior recorded a game-high 26 saves through a full 60 minutes. He helped keep the contest within reach at halftime, as the Blue and Red trailed just 11-5 behind his 13 first half saves.
  • Nick DeGrandi (Louisville, Ky.) Transylvania University | Goalie | First Year - In a 22-7 HCLC victory over Hanover, DeGrandi had five saves and earning the win. He had six saves in a 15-12 loss to Colorado College on Sunday.
