DANVILLE, KY - On this beautiful Friday night, the Pioneers traveled to Danville, KY, to compete in the Centre Twilight. This final tune-up before conference proved to be a great opportunity for big personal bests, new school records, and season-best performances. Some highlights include:

Markieus Hill bettered his own school record in the triple jump with a mark of 13.64m. The women's 800m squad—Kaycee Moore, Libby Perkins, and Kelsey Weil—all ran strong times under the lights. Moore broke her own school record by three seconds, running 2:19.87. Perkins smashed her personal best with a 2:28.73, and Weil ran a season best of 2:32.14.

In the men's 800m, Xander Harris ran a personal best of 1:58.58 and earned a heat win, while Nate Rogers posted a season best of 2:06.73.

Corbin Loster recorded personal bests across the board, throwing 32.70m in the hammer, 10.51m in the shot put, and 34.48m in the discus.

Peyton Tan ran a personal best by nearly two seconds, finishing in 1:01.82.

Trevor Bush won his 400m heat with a personal best of 50.24.

Coach Matt Andrews shared his thoughts at the conclusion of the meet.

"Lots of good mojo tonight. We were feeling the positive energy from the team all around, and I always love it when the 800m crew does well. Pretty solid day overall performance-wise, and I like our team's position going into next week. I'm super pumped to see what our team can do on the track against the rest of the conference."

The Pioneers will be back on their home track next weekend for the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Championships, hosted at Pat Deacon Stadium. Stay tuned to TransySports.com for information about the event.
