Sami Monarch joins the Transylvania swimming and diving program as a volunteer coach for the 2024-2025 season. This will be her first season as a coach, but not her first as a Pioneer.
Monarch graduated from Transylvania in 2023 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Neuroscience. She was a four year member of the swim and dive team. During her time at Transy, she was a four time conference champion. The 200 freestyle relay, 100 freestyle, and twice in the 50 freestyle. She also lead the relay teams that currently hold the school records for the 200 and 400 freestyle relays.
A native of Shelbyville KY, Monarch currently resides in Lexington.
