In a rematch of the 2019 HCAC championship match, the Pioneers quickly displayed their dominance in the doubles matches. The duo of Grace Gardner and Alyssa Igyarto rolled to an 8-2 win in the No. 2 doubles matchup.

In singles play, Robinson extended the Pioneers' lead with a 6-3, 6-0 win at No. 1 singles while Burton cruised to a 6-1, 6-1 victory in the No. 2 singles matchup. Igyarto propelled Transylvania to within one win of the overall match victory with a 7-5, 6-1 decision at No. 4 singles.

Gardner provided the Pioneers with the most compelling matchup of the day as she battled her way to a 7-6 (7-4), 6-2 victory in the No. 3 singles match. The win by Gardner clinched the 6-3 match victory for Transylvania.

The win propels Transylvania to a record of 3-1 on the season and 1-0 in conference play while the Ravens fall to 1-4 overall and 1-1 in the HCAC.
