MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of our Strength and Conditioning program is to ensure our athletes are physically prepared to thrive in Division III competition. We strive to build athleticism across all sports, based on a foundation of recovery and nutrition, and are driven to prepare athletes for success, both in their sport and in their personal lives. We cultivate a high-energy environment, promoting relentless effort with the expectation of high performance.
VISION STATEMENT
To gain recognition as one of the premier NCAA Division III Sports Performance programs in the country, by providing outstanding coaching, facilitative training and performance nutrition assistance.
PHILOSOPHY
Our philosophy is oriented towards promoting happy, healthy, successful student athletes. All athletes train using basic movements of life – sprint, jump, throw, squat, hinge, push, and pull – which are challenged through variation and intensity to build a strong foundation and prepare athletes for the physical demands of their sport. While competition in sport remains paramount, athletes will also develop self-discipline, team comradery, and confidence in their abilities.
