Our Pioneers Men's and Women's Cross Country Teams traveled to chilly Holland Michigan where they tried their luck in the D3 NCAA Regional Championship. Our Pioneers battled through tricky conditions, ending in 29th for the Men's and 30th for the Women's, falling short of their goals but having a lot to build on. Coach Mcnaulty adds:
"What a fun way to end the season! Our Women's program solidified that they are a team to watch having 7 freshman compete today. Kaycee Moore capped off the best season for a Transy XC runner ever with another school record in the snow. Camden Wilson and Libby Perkins both cracked our top 10 all time list with their great races. The Men ran very well in the wet slippery conditions running just off their best times of the season. Super proud of the way we handled different adversity this year and beyond excited to see how good this program becomes".Â
While this season didn't end as we had hoped, Coach Mcnulty has a lot to look forward to the next season only losing 2 seniors out of both Men's and Women's so there is a lot of promise ahead for this overall young group. As the Season comes to a close we are only looking ahead to what's next, for more information on Cross Country, follow @transyxctf on Instagram and Twitter. Â
