Lexington, KY- Transylvania Swimming and Diving, both its men's and women's teams, etched Transylvania University as a CSCAA Scholar All-America Team for their Spring 2022 GPA. 

"Sometimes when something is such a regular occurrence it loses its luster, but this is definitely an award that should not. Coach Doolin's team has consistently, semester after semester, performed well in the classroom and epitomizes the true meaning of the student-athlete," Vice President of Athletics, Dr. Holly Sheilley says of both teams earning recognition for their academic achievement. 

Transylvania Men's Swim and Dive was recognized for a team 3.45 GPA. Transylvania Women's Swim and Dive was recognized for a team GPA of 3.55 . 

CSCAA Executive Director had this to say about Transylvania, "Coach Doolin understands the values of training the complete student-athlete and that is evident by the team's success in the classroom." 

"I am very proud of how hard our student-athletes work in the classroom. It is proof that you can be a great student while also being a college athlete," said Coach Dave Doolin his student-athletes' accomplishments.
