Ashley Higginbotham enters her sixth year as an Assistant Athletic Trainer at Transylvania University for the 2026 -2027 season, primarily covering Women's Soccer, Men's Basketball, Men's and Women's Track and Field, Softball, and Eventing.
Ashley joined Transylvania from Northern Kentucky University where she was a certified Athletic Training Intern, providing sport medicine coverage for Softball. Prior to her time at Northern Kentucky, she served as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer at Bluffton University from 2018 to 2020 in charge of Football and Baseball while receiving her MBA. In 2018, she earned her Bachelors of Science in Athletic Trainer and BOC certification.Â
