Dalton Christopher joined the Transylvania Athletics Department in August 2024 as Assistant Director of Athletics - Communications and Media.
Christopher joined Transylvania after seven prior seasons at Campbellsville University Harrodsburg serving as Director of Athletics and Sports Information Director. Christopher served as a founding administrator in the program from its inception in 2017. During his tenure with CU Harrodsburg, Christopher oversaw the development and launch of eleven varsity programs and two junior varsity programs. Following the program's first NCCAA National Championship in 2022, Christopher was awarded the Barney II and Moore Foundation Servant Leadership Award at Campbellsville University for service to the campus community and student athletes.
"I couldn't be more excited to serve the administrators, coaches and student athletes at Transylvania University," said Christopher. "Working with such a tremendously talented and experienced group at a truly historic institution is such a privilege. I'm excited to not only keep our campus community informed of the many achievements of our programs, but also help tell the stories of all those that put on a uniform, serve as a coach or lead in administration at Transylvania."
Prior to his time at CU Harrodsburg, Christopher served in various game management and media relations roles with the University of Kentucky as a student, where he earned his bachelor's degree in Journalism and Digital Media in 2018.
In addition to his athletic administration experience, Christopher has also worked with the Kentucky Pro Football Hall of Fame, Cameron Mills Radio, 93.9 WLXU Radio in Lexington and the various other media roles.
