Graham Smith enters his fourth season as the Assistant Men's & Women's Track & Field Throws Coach at Transylvania University, focusing on the javelin events. Smith joined the Transylvania coaching staff in 2023 after graduating from the university in 2019.

A standout student-athlete for the Pioneers, Smith made history as the first male All-American in Transylvania's track & field program. He earned this distinction with a personal-best javelin throw of 63.44 meters, finishing as the NCAA Division III Outdoor Championships runner-up in 2019.

During his collegiate career, Smith was a two-time Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) champion in the javelin and was named the 2019 Pioneer Male Athlete of the Year.
