LEXINGTON, KY - Transylvania University Swim & Dive hosted Union Commonwealth University on Friday at the William T. Young Campus Center. Union defeated the Men's Pioneers 142-88 and the Women's Pioneers 130-88.Â
Elliott Havens claimed first place in the Women's 100 Yard Butterfly with a time of 1:00.49. Transy also came in first place in the 400 Yard Freestyle Relay with the team of
Elliott Havens,
Emily Kastner,
Emerson Campbell and
Charlotte Green scoring a time of 3:57.79.Â
Ballard Wheatley recorded the highest score in the one meter dive with a score of 152.45. Wheatley also performed in the three meter dive with a score of 145.49.Â
Charlotte Green had an impressive performance in 500 yard freestyle, finishing second with a time of 5:45.34, just .14 behind Union's Ceci Gimenez Martinez at 5:45.20.

Dave Doolin loved the energy his team brought to the event.Â
"We had really good energy for a Friday night meet," Doolin said. "It was awesome to see so many athletes there from other teams supporting the swimmers and divers."
Transy Swim & Dive returns to action on Saturday, November 16 at Franklin College.Â
