LEXINGTON, KY - Transylvania University Swim and Dive has been recognized by the College Swimming and Dive Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) with the Scholar All-America Award. 

Founded in 1922, the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) is the nation's first organization of college coaches. The mission of the CSCAA is to advance the sport of swimming and diving with coaches at the epicenter of leadership, advocacy, and professional development. The CSCAA Scholar All-America Award honors programs that achieve the highest standards in the classroom while also maintaining success athletically in Swimming and Diving. 

"The commitment to academic excellence demonstrated by these teams is truly admirable. It is inspiring to see student-athletes excel both in the pool and in the classroom. The CSCAA takes great pride in honoring and celebrating their dedication and achievements," said Samantha Barany, Executive Director of the CSCAA. 

Head Coach Dave Doolin was proud to see both the Men's and Women's teams achieving a high standard of success academically and athletically. 

 "We are proud of what they are doing in the classroom and the pool," said Doolin. "Being a student athlete is not easy and they have stepped up to the challenge."
