LEXINGTON, KY -
Zach Hils has been named Assistant Coach of the Transylvania University Swim and Dive program.

Hils brings a wealth of experience to the role. While at the University of Georgia, Hils was a nine time NCAA All-American and a three time Olympic trial qualifier (2016, 2020, 2024). He was recognized with the Peter O' Sullivan Hardest Worker Award from 2021-2023 and was chosen as team captain from 2021-2024, helping lead the team to four top ten NCAA finishes.Â
Hils was recognized on the Southeastern Conference (SEC) Academic Honor Roll from 2019-2024 and awarded the J.Reid Parker Director of Athletics Honor Roll. He was also named as First Team All-American College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America Scholar. Hils served on the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and the Georgia Way Leadership Education and Development Academy while at the University of Georgia.Â
