FRANKLIN, Ind. – Transylvania's women's tennis team overpowered Franklin and Manchester Sunday to improve to 4-0 in Heartland Conference play.
Transy defeated the HCAC's preseason No. 2 team Franklin 9-0, then came back for an 8-1 win over Manchester. Transy is 4-0 in HCAC play as it seeks its second straight conference championship. The Pioneers are unbeaten in 11 league matches over the past two seasons.
The Pioneers are back in action at 9 a.m. Saturday as they host HCAC rivals Mt. St. Joseph and Rose-Hulman.
