LEXINGTON, Ky. - Transylvania's women's tennis team opened the 2011 Heartland Conference season Saturday with a taut 5-4 win over Anderson at the Pioneers Tennis Complex.
The two teams split six singles matches, with Transy taking the No. 1-3 matches and the Ravens the No. 4-6. But the Pioneers swept doubles play to improve to 2-0 on the season, 1-0 HCAC.
