Box Score LEXINGTON, Ky. - Transylvania completed a two game sweep of its College Soccer Showcase Sunday, blanking Baldwin-Wallace 2-0 at Hall Field.

The Pioneers are 4-1 while the Yellow Jackets are 2-2. Transy handed third-ranked Otterbein its first regular season loss in two years in Saturday's game, taking a 2-1 overtime decision.

Transy got the early lead against the Yellow Jackets as Awbrey Wahle (Lexington, Ky., Lex. Catholic) got her first goal of the year eight and a half minutes into the contest. She converted a pass from Abby Felthaus (Florence, Ky., St. Henry).

That lead stood at halftime and for much of the final period. Carley Williams (Monroe, Ohio, Monroe) tallied her first goal of the year at the year in the 87th minute with Alyssa Kruse providing the assist off a corner kick.

Kara Hansel (Florence, Ky., Notre Dame Acad.)got the win in goal with two saves. Transy had a 25-6 edge in shots and a 7-0 edge in corners. The Pioneers took 13 shots on goal to two for the Yellow Jackets.

Transy is back in action on Wednesday, hosting Rio Grande at 7 p.m.at Hall Field.
