Carmel, Ind. – Transylvania diving sophomore Mackie Redford was selected as the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference's Athlete of the Week for women's diving, the conference announced on Monday.

Redford, a sophomore from Lexington, Kentucky (Lexington Catholic HS), spurred the Transylvania women's swimming and diving team to another conference victory over the weekend as the Pioneers women's team defeated Anderson 134-87 on Saturday in Lexington.

Redford dove her way to wins in the women's 1-meter dive with a total of 254.50 points and won the women's 3-meter dive with a combined 231.08 points. In Friday's dual meet with archrival Centre, Redford picked up a third win for the weekend with a 254.50 point showing in the women's 1-meter dive.

This is Redford's third athlete of the week award in the 2021-22 season for the Pioneers.

Transylvania wraps up its home regular season slate this Saturday, January 29 versus the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology Fightin' Engineers at the William T. Young Center at 1:00 p.m.
