In their first game of HCAC play, the Pioneers defeated the Beavers in straight sets for a 3-0 win. The teams also presented cards to today's officials as a thank you during Officials Appreciation Week.

"What an amazing performance from everyone today. We are super confident as a group and starting to play that way. Each day we try to get better and today we got better," said Head Coach Amy Barmore.

The Pioneers will be on the road next week to continue HCAC play at Franklin and Rose-Hulman. They'll return home for an October 12th matchup with Earlham College.
