The #3 Pioneers took care of the John Carroll Blue Streaks Saturday evening, collecting an 82-39 win on the road to move to 9-0 on the season. After finishing the first quarter up 16-11, the Pioneers expanded their lead margin considerably by out-scoring the Blue Streaks 25-5 in the second quarter by going 5-6 on three pointers. The Blue Streaks were ranked 21st in the WBCA poll last week. 

• Sydney Wright- 20 points, 5-5 3PT, 3 rebounds

• Maddie Kellione- 25 points, 5 steals, 3 rebounds, 4-4 FT

• Kennedi Stacy- 12 points, 5 steals, 6 rebounds

• Team total 21 steals, resulting in 39 points made off turnovers

"This was our most complete defensive effort this season. I was proud of how we defended and we will keep building on those possessions," said Head Coach Dr. Juli Fulks. 

On the road again Monday, Transy Women's Basketball will face Manchester for their fourth HCAC matchup of the season at 1:00 PM. Following their road trip, they'll return to Lexington to host their Holiday Classic on December 29th and 30th.
