Box Score In the battle of two undefeated Kentucky college basketball teams, #2 Transylvania defeats Berea 82-55. Though it was tied 15-15 at the end of the first quarter, Transy pulled away in the second quarter out-scoring Berea 25-9 to keep the lead until the end of the game off 11 different scorers.
Kennedi Stacy was named the Transylvania Holiday Classic Most Valuable Player, pictured below with Dr. Holly Sheilley, Transylvania Vice President of Athletics.
"This weekend was a great team effort. We played two really talented teams that had different strengths and I thought we adapted well both nights," said Head Coach Dr. Juli Fulks.
The Pioneers will be on the road next week on January 4th for a 2:00PM game at Earlham.
