The Pioneers, who were ranked #17 in the Atlantic South Region by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association on Friday, improved to 15-4 to conclude the regular season.
Head coach Bill Carey said "It's rare that you see a class that has such an impact on a program as this senior class has had. With that in mind it was bittersweet to have Senior Day today. I am so grateful for everything they have done and wish them all the best, and of course will miss them greatly, but they have left Transy tennis in a very good place. Great to have one last regular season match with them and now we anxiously await the NCAA Tournament".
The Pioneers now look ahead to the NCAA Tournament, scheduled to start on Thursday May 12, with location and opponent to be determined.
