In a conference matchup with Hanover, Transy Women's Tennis took a 7-2 win at Top Seed Wednesday night.

Jessica Burton/Maria Hayes (TU) d Tippery/Roberts 8-3

Christina Duvall/Maddy Williams (TU)  d Vandeventer/Waskom 8-3

Head Coach Bill Carey said of the doubles matchups, "This was a super high quality effort from the whole team against a tough conference rival. I was especially pleased with how the team set the tone in doubles, coming out strong and really putting the pressure on by taking all three doubles points."

Superb efforts by Maria Hayes in her first conference season, and Christina Duvall closing it out with a super gritty long, tough match. I am nothing but very pleased and proud of this entire team win, with everyone contributing," said Coach Carey. 

The Pioneers are back in action this weekend on the road at Franklin on Saturday and Anderson on Sunday.
