Transy Field Hockey fell 0-2 to Centre Thursday night. The Pioneers and the Colonels were in a close battle going into the fourth quarter with Centre leading 0-1. Centre would score a second goal, but the Pioneers battled the entire game.
"We played as a team tonight with great effort and attitude! This wasn't the outcome we wanted but the intangibles were there and we will build from this," said Interim Head Coach Natalie Hernandez.
The Pioneers will be on the road this weekend in Memphis, TN to face Rhodes College on Sunday at 12PM.
