In their ninth HCAC matchup of the year, #2 Transy Women's Basketball remains undefeated against conference foes and their season as a whole at 17-0 on the year. The Pioneers again had no lead changes after scoring the first basket of the game and powering through the Panthers the rest of the game to claim the number one spot in HCAC standings outright. This week the Pioneers moved back up to #2 in the country in the week seven poll on www.d3hoops.com, up from the three spot last week.
"We did an excellent job of valuing the basketball and controlling the pace today. I was proud of our game plan execution on both ends of the court," said Coach Fulks.
The Pioneers will be at home next Wednesday, January 25th at 1:00 PM for another HCAC game against Manchester.
