CINCINNATI, Oh - Transy Women's Soccer suffered their second HCAC loss on Wednesday night. The Pioneers dropped their match against Mount Saint Joseph on the road, 0-1. Transy outshot the Lions 12-10 on the night but couldn't get one past the goalkeeper.
The Pioneers gave up their defeating goal 11 minutes into the game, from then on playing well, but unable to unable to connect as Maddi Benjamin would apply early pressure. Transy would take more corner kicks than MSJ 6-5, and keep the offensive pressure up as Isabella White led TU with 4 shots.
First Year Goalkeeper Carrie Stevens made her second collegiate start tonight where she had 3 saves.
This loss moves Transy to 1-10-1 all time vs MSJ. At 3-2 in HCAC play, Transy now sits at 4th overall in the HCAC standings.Â
Despite similar offensive statistics the Pioneers would be unable to leave Cincinnati without the win but are back at Pat Deacon this Saturday, October 14th as the Pioneers play Rose-Hulman at 1PM in Lexington.Â
