LEXINGTON - The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America has announced its 2022-2023 Scholar All-Americas swimming teams.

One hundred thirty-seven teams earned the Team Scholar All-America Award across NCAA DIII. In order to receive the Team Scholar All-America Award, college and university swimming and diving teams must achieve a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.

The Transylvania University Men's Swimming and Diving team earned the honors with a 3.49 team GPA among 19 participants. The Women's Swimming and Diving team earned the honors with a 3.5 GPA among 24 participants.

"The very essence of what we do is educate young people," said Vice President and Director of Athletics Holly Sheilley.  "I am continually impressed by the excellence that our student-athletes not only exhibit in the pool, but most importantly in the classroom."
