WILMORE, KY - Transylvania kicked off their 50th season of Swim and Dive with a meet at Asbury in Wilmore on Saturday. Transylvania's Men's team earned a 99-89 victory, while the Women's team fell 143-57. 

"I'm really proud of how our swimmers started the season," said Head Coach Dave Doolin. "The energy on our deck was fantastic, everyone gave great effort from start to finish. I can't wait to see how we continue to grow this year."

Highlights

Isaiah Perkins won the Men's 100 Yard Freestyle with a final time of 51.62.
Riley Shaw won the Women's 100 Yard Backstroke with a final time of 1:02.27.
Kole Brannock won the Men's 100 Yard Backstroke with a final time of 55.38. 
Hayes Doolin won the Men's 100 Yard Breaststroke with a final time of 1:01.18. 
Bryce Highley, Hayes Doolin, Kole Brannock and Isaiah Perkins finished second in the Men's 200 Yard Medley Relay (1:41.45)
Emily Kastner finished second in the Women's 1000 Yard Freestyle (12:36.42)
Kole Brannock finished second in the Men's 200 Yard Freestyle (1:51.16)
Elliot Havens finished second in the Women's 50 Yard Freestyle (25.72)

Both the Men's and Women's Swim and Dive teams return to action on Saturday, November 1st, as they travel to take on Wilmington and Wittenberg in Wilmington.
