ORLANDO, FL- Women's Tennis has traveled to Florida for their spring break where they will play 5 different teams this week. Today the Pioneers faced off with North Central College to spearhead this spring break gauntlet. 

The Pioneers couldn't get it done today as they would fall to North Central 1-8. In #1 Doubles Katherine Taylor and Grace Gardner would have a close match, fighting hard but eventually coming short 6-8. In #3 Doubles, Christina Duvall and Maddy Williams would have a close match but also fell short 5-8. 

In singles the Pioneers would improve as in #1 Singles, Katherine Taylor would win a thriller in 3 sets. Dropping the first one 3-6, then winning the second 6-1, then winning the tiebreaker 1-0. Taylor would be the only Pioneers to win her singles match, despite Christina Duvall's efforts in #4 singles losing a close match 5-7,2-6. 

The Pioneers will play tomorrow against Sweet Briar College, starting at 11:30 AM March 11th.
