LEXINGTON- The Transylvania Women's Tennis team played their last official home match today at Top Seed Tennis Club "The Seed". In today's match the Pioneers took on Earlham College where they handed the Quakers a loss as the Pioneers won 8-1.

In Doubles the Pioneers would have a battle as #1 Doubles was won by Grace Gardner and Katherine Taylor 8-1. In #3 Doubles the duo of Maddy Williams and Christina Duvall would win 8-1 as well. 

In Singles the Pioneers would sweep, winning all 6 Singles matches. In #1 Singles Katherine Taylor would win 6-1, 6-2. In #2 Singles Grace Gardner would win after taking it to 3 sets, 6-0, 3-6, 1-0. In #3 Singles Ally Rassenfoss would win 6-2, 6-3, in #4 Singles Maria Hayes would win 6-3, 6-2. To finish the Singles sweep, 35 Singles would be won by Maddy Williams 6-0, 6-3. Finalizing after a 3 set win as #6 Singles was decided by Katie Shaffer 6-2, 3-6,1-0 for the win.

This wraps up home court matches for the Pioneers as they will now look to Rose-Hulman as Transylvania travels to Terre-Haute April 27th to play at 11AM.
