CARMEL, Ind. – The Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) Women's Outdoor Track & Field teams competed in week five of the 2026 season.
 
Athletes of the Week: 
Women's Sprints/Hurdles Athlete of the Week:
Peyton Tan (Houston, Texas) Transylvania University | Sprints | Junior - Peyton had an awesome evening at the Centre Twilight where she recorded personal bests in both the 400m and 100H. She ran 61.82 over 400m which takes off over 1.3 seconds from her previous best. She also ran 18.98 in the hurdles, a PB by .65 seconds.

• Jay'ana Blakely (Westville, Ind.) Manchester University | Sprints | Senior - Jay'ana Blakely ran seasons best of 26.59 in the 200m and finished 1st at the Mike Becraft Invite. This time ranks her 5th in the HCAC this season and is .1 seconds off her PR.
• Rose Talbert (Monticello, Ill.) Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology | Sprints | Junior - Rose Talbert placed 10th in the 400m at the Gibson Invitational with a time of 57.58.
