CARMEL, Ind. – The Heartland Collegiate Lacrosse Conference (HCLC) men's lacrosse teams competed in week eight of the 2026 season.

Defensive Player of the Week
Nick DeGrandi (Louisville, Ky.) Transylvania University | Goalkeeper | Sophomore -
Nick DeGrandi delivered an outstanding performance in goal for Transylvania in a matchup against Hope, recording 21 saves and adding five ground balls. His effort anchored the defense throughout the contest and kept the Pioneers competitive.
Notable Performances:
- Chris Bishop (Laporte, Ind.) Hanover College | Long-stick Midfield | Senior - Chris Bishop led Hanover as it defeated Spalding, 26-10. The long-stick recorded two ground balls with two caused turnovers and was key in holding Spalding to just 10 goals.
- Kody Moore (Grand Island, N.Y.) Hilbert College | Goalkeeper | Sophomore - Kody Moore racked up 30 saves and a 56.6 save percentage in a 1-1 week for Hilbert. He put on a performance in a road loss at Pitt-Bradford, stopping 24 shots, including several highlight reel saves. The 24 saves were a career high for the second-year netminder.
- Josh Harney (Lexington, Ky.) Transylvania University | Midfield | Junior - Josh Harney contributed to the Transylvania offense in a midweek matchup against Hope with a three-point performance. He recorded one goal and two assists. He totaled nine shots in the contest and added two ground balls, impacting play on both ends of the field.
