During Tereshko’s time at Transylvania, she led her tennis team to NCAA tournament appearances in 2010 and 2012. A Lexington Dunbar High School graduate, she was one of the most decorated tennis players ever for the Pioneers. Tereshko was the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Freshman of the Year in 2008 and made First Team All-HCAC in each of her four seasons. She also became the program’s first women’s tennis player to earn the HCAC’s Most Valuable Player award in 2010 (repeating in 2011) — and she was named the Transylvania women’s Athlete of the Year in 2011 and 12.
