Box Score ANDERSON, Ind. - Transylvania senior Holly Milburn (Georgetown, Ky.) had 23 points and nine rebounds and the Pioneers used a 17-4 run to end the game to zip to a 69-50 victory over Anderson in Heartland Conference women's basketball play.

Transy is 9-4, 4-2 HCAC, after its third win in a row while the Ravens are 5-8, 3-3 HCAC. The teams entered the contest in a three-way tie for third in the early league race.

Senior Olivia Akridge (Eddyville, Ky.), who came into the contest with 961 career points, tallied eight against the Ravens to go with four assists and four rebounds. She has 969 points while Milburn improved her career total to 946.

Transy led by just six, 52-46, with just under eight minutes to play before its decisive run. The Pioneers also forced Anderson into 22 turnovers while committing just eight for a 27-7 edge in scoring off miscues.

Milburn's 23 points were a season high and just three off her career best. Shayla Black added 15 points and eight assists to the attack. Angel Lucas (Elizabethtown, Ky.) was also in double figures with 12 points to go with four assists and four boards.

Transy shot 41.9 percent from the field for the game to 41.7 percent for the Ravens. Each team grabbed 35 rebounds, but Anderson was unable to overcome its turnover deficit.

The Pioneers led by as many as seven points in the first half and were up 33-26 at intermission. Milburn had 12 points and four rebounds in the half and Akridge added six.

Transy outshot the Ravens 47 percent to 43 percent from the field in the first 20 minutes. Courtney Prater led the Ravens with eight points and five rebounds. She finished the contest with 19 points and 13 rebounds. She was joined in double figures by Ellen Thompson, who tallied 11.

The Pioneers return home on Wednesday to take on HCAC rival Mt. St. Joseph. Game time is 7:30 p.m. at the Beck Center.
