LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Transylvania fell behind by two goals in the first half Thursday and went on to drop a 5-0 field hockey decision to DePauw in a contest played at Sacred Heart Academy in Louisville.
Transy (1-11) found itself on the short side of a 2-0 deficit after the first 30 minutes. DePauw, members of the North Coast Athletic Conference, improved to 12-1 on the year.

Molly Dean keyed a strong Pioneer defensive effort.
Sara Aschbacher was credited with 22 saves in goal for Transy while
Lydia Lee added three defensive saves.
The Pioneers are back in action on Thursday when they host Wittenberg at 6:30 p.m. at Hall Field.
