LEXINGTON, Ky. - Transylvania's men's tennis team capped its regular season Sunday with a 7-2 victory over Anderson at the Lexington Tennis Club.

The Pioneers enter next weekend's Heartland Conference Tournament as the No. 2 seed with a record of 11-7, 8-1 in conference action. The Ravens are 2-8, 2-6 HCAC.

Transy will try to upset No. 1 seed Earlham next weekend at the West Indy Racquet Club. The Pioneers will meet the winner of the Franklin-Defiance match Saturday at 2 p.m. The HCAC Championship game will be played Sunday at 10 a.m. The winner gets the league's automatic bid into the NCAA Division III Tournament.
