JEKYLL ISLAND, Ga.—The Transylvania University women's golf team moved up to 16th place on the second day of play at the Jekyll Island Invitational and look to finish strongly in Sunday's final round.
Facing some of the nation's best teams, the Pioneers moved to 16th place on Saturday besting Friday's round by four strokes.
Tiara Harris is tied for 42nd overall, while fellow seniors Jerra Kelsey and Alyssa Thompson are tied for 68th.
The event is being played at Jekyll Island's Indian Mound course, a par-72, 5801-yard course.
