GERMANTOWN, Tenn. –The Transylvania University women's golf team finished the two day Joe Duncan Rhodes Invitational Monday at the Windyke Country Club.
Uncooperative weather made Sunday's first round more difficult putting the Pioneers in sixth place after the first 18 holes.
The Pioneers knocked one stroke off Sunday's total, as Alyssa Thompson led Transylvania finishing 34th overall. Tiara Harris, Lindsey Bloom, Cayla Combs and Jill Graeter finished in the field's top 40.
Wittenberg University won the event, as Washington University-St. Louis claimed second and host Rhodes College rounded out the top three.
Transylvania will compete in the Centre College Spring Invitational at Houston Oaks Golf Course April 4.
