LEXINGTON, Ky.—The Transylvania University men's tennis team cruised to a 9-0 win over Anderson University Saturday at the Transylvania Tennis Complex to pick up their first Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference win of the season.

The Pioneers controlled the match taking No. 1 doubles 8-2, before winning No. 2 doubles 8-0 and did not lose a set the entire match.

Much was the same in singles play, as Robert Albrecht won easily in straight sets, 6-0, 6-0 at No .1. Dylan Conner, Joshua Buckman, Zachary Meikle, Reza Haider and Luke Groene all picked up wins on the day.

Transy is now 1-2 in HCAC play and will host Franklin College tomorrow at 12 p.m.
