The second quarter saw junior guard Shelby Boyle score four points on 2-for-2 shooting from the field as the Pioneers extended their lead to 37-28 at the halftime intermission.

Using a barrage of three-pointers, Transylvania extended its lead to its largest of the game at 45-30 with 8:15 remaining in the third quarter.

In the fourth quarter, sophomore guard Zenoviah Walker helped secure the 69-58 victory for Transylvania with a perfect 4-for-4 performance from the free-throw line.
