For their second game of the weekend in Dallas, Texas, #2 Transy Women's Basketball faced UT-Dallas. The Pioneers defeated the Comets 57-43 to come home 2-0 on their opening weekend of the season.
"Our defensive effort was impressive and I thought we rose to the challenge in a very physical game. UT-Dallas has a long history of success and we knew it would be a battle from start to finish," said Head Coach Dr. Juli Fulks.
The Pioneers host the Pat Deacon Classic with Wilmington, Denison, and Maryville over Thanksgiving weekend at the Clive M. Beck Center. Their first game will be at 3:00PM on Saturday November 26th.
