The #2 Pioneers took the number one seed into the HCAC Semifinals this evening against the #5 Bluffton Beavers after finishing their conference schedule with a perfect 18-0 run. They continued their HCAC dominance with an 82-55 win over the Beavers at the Beck Center. They advance to play the winner of the second semifinal game between #2 Hanover and #3 MSJ. 

• Dasia Thornton- led the Pioneers with 21 points, 13 rebounds for the double-double, season high 9 field goals made

• Laken Ball- 13 points, 8 rebounds

• Maddie Kellione- 13 points, 4 rebounds

• Sydney Wright- 7 points, 3 rebounds, season high 3 assists

• Samantha Cornelison- season high 8 points

• Emilie Teall- season high 4 blocks and season high 2 steals

"I was proud of our collective team effort tonight. We were able to find gaps and openings against the zone on offense, while being solid on the defensive end.  Dasia was a key contributor on offense tonight giving us an extra boost scoring in the paint," said Coach Fulks. 

Saturday's HCAC Championship game will be played at 6:00 PM in the Beck Center for the winner to punch their ticket to the NCAA Tournament.
