Trent Pahl led off the frame with a walk and

down the right field line to score Pahl.
Henry Mitcham drove in Schubert with a ground ball to second

with 3 2/3 innings pitched.
Game 2
The story of the game was
Jacob Moberly and
Luke Patton dominating on the bump. Moberly
went 6 innings to earn the win, striking out 7 and walking 1 while only giving up 2 hits. Patton relieved
Moberly in the top of the 7 th and proceeded to strike out 7 over 3 innings. It's the second conference
shut out for the Pioneers on the season.
Offensively, the Pioneers jumped out early; scoring 8 runs in the first two frames. Pahl, Dreher,
Schubert, and Mitcham all reached base to start the game to make it 2-0 Pios before an out was
recorded. An
Austin Taylor sac bunt allowed
Houston Manning to drive in the 3 rd run of the inning.
The 2 nd inning was more of the same for the Pioneers as
Walter Munday launched a ball out of
the park to right to lead off the frame.
Braden Becker followed with a double, Pahl singled, Dreher
singled before
Calvin Schubert doubled to right center to extend the lead to 7-0. Schubert would later
