The Pioneers dropped both games of a doubleheader today that was punctuated with bad
spitting rain and a moderate hail delay.
Overall it was tough sledding for the Pioneers as they surrendered the most runs they've given
up all season. Bright spots however were:
Coach Getsee had this to say after the game:
"We didn't have it today. I don't think there's too much more to say than that. Sometimes, that happens
in baseball and you just have to work your way through those days. We had played some really good
baseball over a really long stretch. At the end of the day, we've won 13 of our last 17 and think we're in
a really good spot as we get ready to head into the postseason."
