Game 2:

Game two featured offensive outbreak by both teams that saw pitching staff's struggle to
keep balls in the ballpark due to a steadily increasing outbound wind.

The Pioneers steady attacking offense was punctuated by two Caleb Bowers homeruns (5th
inning and 7th inning). Houston Manning tacked on two doubles and three RBI while Calvin
Schubert tacked on two hits of his own.

Coach Getsee had this to say after the game:

"We would have really liked to hold onto that last one because we felt like we were in a good spot to
grab them late and snake bite them, but we just didn't make it happen. Luckily, we know for the rest
of the way that our fate is in our own hands when it comes to postseason baseball and we need to
make sure we put ourselves in the best possible position to be successful there."
